First Emissions Free Electrolyzer in Washington


The Douglas County Public Utility District (Douglas PUD) held a ground-breaking ceremony this week to mark the start of construction of a pilot 5-MW green hydrogen production facility in the US state of Washington.


The facility is meant to provide flexibility to Douglas PUD operations at its Wells Dam hydroelectric station on the Columbia river.
